The company behind the brand yuwell is Yuwell-Jiangsu Yuyue medical equipment & supply Co., Ltd, and it was founded in 1998 in China. Its focus is on medical devices for hospitals and home use. Yuwell Homecare Oxygen Concentrator models

Personal use product lineup models include YU300, YU500, and YU600. While YU300 and YU500 differ only in the color of the hard plastic casing, the YU600 is visually and technically distinguishable.

YU300 Homecare Oxygen Concentrator

The YU300 model has a continuous flow rate of between 1 l/min to 5 l/min, with oxygen purity of up to 90%. As the flow increases, purity lowers – the machine can filter a limited volume of air. The adjustable flow rate is 1 LPM at 90%, 2 LPM at 50%, 3 LPM at 40%, 4 LPM at 33%, 5 LPM at 30%. This rate is lower than in similar devices.

One of the machines weak points is the lack of handle and relatively high weight. It is about 1 lbs (~2 kg) heavier than competing machines – weighs 16.5 lbs (~7.5 kg) – and the missing handle makes it even less comfortable to carry around.

The UI of the device is a little strange as there’s a screen at the top of the casing, but the control button is at the front of it. The screen is clear and easy to read, and the controls have an on/off switch, time plus, time minus, flow and anion.

At the front of the machine there’s a water gauge with a maximum level indicator.

Plastic casing is in white, with the top and bottom in black. It looks nice, for a medical device.

YU360 Homecare Oxygen Concentrator

YU360 is a new variation of YU300, the company’s top selling homecare model.

Design has stayed mostly the same – there’s a biggest, colorful, screen – and a new functionality was added – Nebulizer. For anyone consuming medication through mist, this could save an impact on purchase decision.

Difference in price between models is minor – ~$10.

YU500 Homecare Oxygen Concentrator

Identical to YU300 in almost every aspect – output, oxygen purity, for factor, weight, and functionalities – aside to case color. While YU300 comes in white and black, the YU500 is in wood pattern and black.

It is a matter of taste.

YU600 Homecare Oxygen Concentrator

In this range of products, YU600 is the highest performing one. Oxygen flow rate range is narrow at between 1 l/min and 3 l/min, but purity is far superior. The maximum is 90%, but few machines can keep high concentration for large volumes as this one can. The adjusted rate is 2 LPM at 90%, 2.5 LPM at 80%, 3 LPM at 70%.

As opposed to YU300 and YU500, this model has a comfortable to grip handle that looks very sturdy. To this plus, there’s an added weight that is noticeable after a couple of minutes holding it. The machines total weight is 18.7 lbs (~8.5 kg).

Yuwell Medical Grade Oxygen Concentrator models

On the company’s website there are multiple devices designed for medical respiratory therapy – 8F series is similar in design to YU600. These models are not sold by retailers and note designed for home/office care.

Yuwell Oxygen Concentrator Accessories and Spare Parts

A plus for buying Yuwell is it also provides accessories, so comparability is guaranteed. Some of these products are sold by other manufacturers for cheaper prices, but buying a medical accessory from a company who makes hospital grade products is reassuring.

As for carrying bags, they can be found by other providers, but their quality is not as critical.
